C&rsquo;\u00e9tait formidable de retrouver cette r\u00e9gion que nous aimons tant, de revoir amis et famille, et de rencontrer certains lecteurs lors de ma signature chez <a href=\"http:\/\/www.omnivorebooks.com\/\">Omnivore Books<\/a>. Et maintenant que je commence \u00e0 m&rsquo;extirper de la montagne de travail qui m&rsquo;attendait \u00e0 mon retour (ce dont je ne me plains pas), j&rsquo;ai envie de vous livrer certaines de nos exp\u00e9riences gustatives les plus m\u00e9morables.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Glaces Smitten\" src=\"https:\/\/cnz.to\/archives\/images\/travels\/sf2013.jpg\" width=\"760\" class=\"mt-image-none\" style=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>~ S&rsquo;offrir pratiquement <strong>une glace par jour<\/strong> &#8212; principalement chez <a href=\"http:\/\/biritecreamery.com\">Bi-Rite Creamery<\/a> sur Divisadero (leurs ice cream sandwiches au sirop d&rsquo;\u00e9rable, noix et banane valent le d\u00e9tour) ; mais aussi chez <a href=\"http:\/\/smittenicecream.com\/\">Smitten<\/a> dans Haighs Valley, o\u00f9 votre glace est mix\u00e9e juste pour vous et devant vos yeux \u00e0 l&rsquo;azote liquide (en photo : glace au chocolat <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tcho.com\/\">TCHO<\/a> et glace \u00e0 la courge d&rsquo;hiver, \u00e9rable et sucre roux) ; et, en un peu moins raffin\u00e9 mais tout aussi jouissif, chez <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easybreezysf.com\/\">Easy Breezy<\/a> dans Noe Valley, o\u00f9 on se sert soi-m\u00eame du frozen yogurt bio et des petits trucs \u00e0 saupoudrer dessus avant de payer sa coupe au poids (attention donc \u00e0 ne pas avoir les yeux plus gros que le ventre, c&rsquo;est leur business model).<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Salade de kale\" src=\"https:\/\/cnz.to\/archives\/images\/travels\/sf2013-12.jpg\" width=\"760\" class=\"mt-image-none\" style=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>~ <a href=\"https:\/\/cnz.to\/vf\/2012\/11\/50_idees_pour_utiliser_le_kale.php\" target=\"_self\">Manger du kale<\/a> de toutes sortes presque tous les jours, et nous r\u00e9galer particuli\u00e8rement de la salade de kale rouge que j&rsquo;ai faite plusieurs fois avec de l&rsquo;avocat, de la coriandre et des graines de grenade (en photo ci-dessus).<\/p>\n<p>~ Manger le meilleur <b>carnitas burrito<\/b> de ma vie \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LaTaqSF\">La Taqueria<\/a>, sur la recommandation de mon amie Emily (qui est aussi, en passant, ma <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pilatesdelateteauxpieds.com\">prof de Pilates<\/a> \u00e0 Paris).<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Morning bun\" src=\"https:\/\/cnz.to\/archives\/images\/travels\/sf2013-13.jpg\" width=\"760\" class=\"mt-image-none\" style=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>~ Commencer la journ\u00e9e avec un <b>morning bun<\/b> au bon go\u00fbt de beurre et de <a href=\"http:\/\/cinnamonhill.com\/?___store=eu&#038;acc=c4ca4238a0b923820dcc509a6f75849b\">cannelle<\/a> de chez <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tartinebakery.com\/\">Tartine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Panucho de Pollo al Pibil\" src=\"https:\/\/cnz.to\/archives\/images\/travels\/sf2013-2.jpg\" width=\"760\" class=\"mt-image-none\" style=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>~ D\u00e9guster la <strong>nouvelle cuisine mexicaine<\/strong> fra\u00eeche, durable et bio de chez <a href=\"http:\/\/nopalitosf.com\/\">Nopalito<\/a> (en photo ci-dessus : le Panucho de Pollo al Pibil, une tortilla fourr\u00e9e de haricots noirs et de poulet cuit aux agrumes et \u00e0 l&rsquo;<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Achiote\">achiote<\/a>, garni de chou cru, d&rsquo;oignons rouges en pickle, et de salsa aux piments habanero). Admirer avec \u00e9motion le carrelage en mosa\u00efque vert acide au-dessus du bar, qui nous a servi de point de d\u00e9part d&rsquo;inspiration quand on a refait notre cuisine il y a quelques ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Oeufs basse temp\u00e9rature chez Namu Gaji\" src=\"https:\/\/cnz.to\/archives\/images\/travels\/sf2013-3.jpg\" width=\"760\" class=\"mt-image-none\" style=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>~ Savourer un brunch ensoleill\u00e9 avec de bons amis chez <a href=\"http:\/\/www.namusf.com\/\">Namu Gaji<\/a>, un restaurant de nouvelle cuisine <strong>americano-cor\u00e9enne<\/strong>, et adorer les oeufs cuits \u00e0 basse temp\u00e9rature servis dans un dashi, avec de la poitrine de cochon r\u00f4tie, du riz et du kimchi (en photo ci-dessus).<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Latte\" src=\"https:\/\/cnz.to\/archives\/images\/travels\/sf2013-4.jpg\" width=\"760\" class=\"mt-image-none\" style=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>~ Boire des <strong>lattes<\/strong> \u00e0 <a href=\"http:\/\/themillsf.com\/\">The Mill<\/a>. Adorer l&rsquo;endroit, si beau, si lumineux. Acheter leur exceptionnel <a href=\"http:\/\/joseybakerbread.wordpress.com\/what-breads\/\">wonder bread<\/a> (en photo dans le sachet en papier ci-dessus !) \u00e0 manger au petit d\u00e9jeuner les jours suivants, tartin\u00e9 de l&rsquo;irr\u00e9sistible <a href=\"http:\/\/shop.alfierifarms.com\/Almond-Butter-Lightly-Salted-Crunchy-16-oz-ABKRST16.htm\">beurre d&rsquo;amande croquant et l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sal\u00e9<\/a> de chez G.L. Alfieri.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Burger Roam\" src=\"https:\/\/cnz.to\/archives\/images\/travels\/sf2013-5.jpg\" width=\"760\" class=\"mt-image-none\" style=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>~ Mordre avec app\u00e9tit dans un <strong>burger<\/strong> artisanal servi chez <a href=\"http:\/\/roamburgers.com\/\">Roam<\/a> (en photo ci-dessus : le cheeseburger au bacon \u00ab\u00a0Heritage\u00a0\u00bb sur un pain au s\u00e9same) avec des frites de patates douces en accompagnement.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"G\u00e2t\u00e9 comme des filles chocolats\" src=\"https:\/\/cnz.to\/archives\/images\/travels\/sf2013-6.jpg\" width=\"760\" class=\"mt-image-none\" style=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>~ Me d\u00e9lecter de la bo\u00eete de <strong>chocolats<\/strong> que mon amie <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gatecommedesfilles.fr\/\">Alexandra Whisnant<\/a> m&rsquo;a apport\u00e9s \u00e0 la signature, avec une mention sp\u00e9ciale pour ses ganaches au citron Meyer frais (en photo ci-dessus dans la diagonale). Rapporter les restes \u00e0 la maison pour se faire un deuxi\u00e8me festin au d\u00eener.<\/p>\n<p>~ &Ecirc;tre impressionn\u00e9s et heureux de constater combien les restaurants \u00e0 San Francisco sont <b>kid-friendly<\/b> (je ne traduis pas, le concept-m\u00eame me para\u00eet tellement am\u00e9ricain). Il y a des chaises hautes disponibles presque partout (pas que notre fils accepte de s&rsquo;y asseoir, mais \u00e7a c&rsquo;est une autre histoire), le personnel est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement adorable et attentif, et le service souvent rapide et informel se pr\u00eate parfaitement aux sorties avec des jeunes enfants. Nous n&rsquo;avons jamais vraiment eu de probl\u00e8mes \u00e0 Paris, mais il y a une diff\u00e9rence entre se sentir tol\u00e9r\u00e9, et se sentir carr\u00e9ment bienvenu.<\/p>\n<h3>Participez \u00e0 la conversation !<\/h3>\n<p>&Ecirc;tes-vous d\u00e9j\u00e0 all\u00e9 \u00e0 San Francisco ?
